Neil Warnock Makes Celtic Transfer Pitch for Aberdeen Star

Neil Warnock briefly assumed control at Aberdeen as an interim manager before departing the club following their Scottish Cup quarter-final victory.

The experienced manager has recommended Bojan Miovski as a potentially ideal addition to Celtic.

Bojan Miovski has showcased his goal-scoring ability with 23 goals across various competitions this season for both his club and country, impressing Warnock during his brief stint at Aberdeen.

While Celtic were previously linked with the striker in January, no official transfer materialized.

Warnock has openly praised Miovski, going as far as to label the North Macedonian forward as the best striker he has ever managed.

His recent remarks on talkSPORT, as reported by Football Scotland, further emphasize his admiration for the striker, highlighting his contribution beyond scoring goals, particularly his off-the-ball work.

He said: “I think they possibly will sell him in the summer.

“I think obviously the top two [Rangers and Celtic], he would fit in with them as well because he works hard.

“He did about 10km running when we played Rangers, he worked his socks off, but he’s a good finisher and I think it’s done him a world of good going to Aberdeen.”

Aberdeen won’t be keen on letting Miovski leave on the cheap, and there will likely be a lot of clubs keeping an eye on him this summer. It will be interesting to see of Celtic are one of those clubs.
