West Ham Target Galatasaray Star Yilmaz Amid January Transfer Priorities

West Ham have long admired the former Spurs academy product but pulled out of talks last July after Southampton set a £25 million asking price—seen as too high with just a year left on his deal.

The club instead shifted focus to signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has since impressed at right wing-back.

However, discussions over Kyle Walker-Peters never fully ended, and Claret & Hugh report that West Ham now have an agreement in principle to sign the 28-year-old once he becomes a free agent at the end of the month.

Interest seemed to cool following Graham Potter’s arrival, but West Ham are now back in contention.

They’ll face competition from Everton—on the lookout for replacements for Seamus Coleman and Ashley Young—and Tottenham, who may be interested in bringing him back.

Like Wan-Bissaka, Walker-Peters can operate on both flanks, making it feasible for both players to be part of the squad.

Journalist names most likely outcome in £70m West Ham United transfer saga

West Ham United are reportedly most likely to sell Mohammed Kudus to a Saudi Pro League side this summer, according to journalist Graeme Bailey.

The Ghanaian international impressed in his debut season with the Hammers but has struggled to replicate that form in his second year at the club.

Bailey, via TBR Football, claims Kudus is now available for around £70 million, with a move to Saudi Arabia currently appearing to be the most probable outcome.

The report also references previous interest from top clubs such as Liverpool and Arsenal, though it seems that interest has since waned.

Kudus showed great promise during his time at Ajax and made an immediate impact after arriving at West Ham.

At his best, the 24-year-old is a dynamic attacking threat, but his lack of consistency is likely to deter interest from top European clubs.

That said, a move to the Saudi Pro League would still be a high-profile transfer, and it seems like a logical step at this stage of his career.

The report also notes that several other key players could leave the London Stadium this summer.

After a disappointing season, parting ways with Kudus might be a sensible decision, with Lucas Paquetá among those who could also be sold and replaced.

Graham Potter has inherited a struggling squad from Julen Lopetegui, and it’s expected the new manager will look to reshape the team to improve results.
