Aston Villa currently sit seventh in the league and have struggled to find consistency this season.

Manager Unai Emery has been particularly concerned about the form of striker Ollie Watkins. Despite netting seven league goals, Watkins has not performed at his peak, and goal-scoring has occasionally been a challenge for the team.

However, Villa have excelled in the Champions League, where they are comfortably placed in 5th position. Still, it is clear that reinforcements are needed to improve their squad and raise their overall performance.

According to NotizieMilan, Aston Villa are reportedly preparing a substantial offer to acquire Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan.

Although Chukwueze has had a lackluster start to life in Serie A, Emery remains keen on the 24-year-old, having previously worked with him during their time together at Villarreal in La Liga.

Emery is known to be a long-time admirer of Samuel Chukwueze and remains confident in the Nigerian winger’s untapped potential.

Reports suggest that AC Milan are open to selling Chukwueze, but it is unclear whether a deal could materialize during the January transfer window, as no specific timeline has been indicated for the potential move.

Aston Villa are also targeting defensive reinforcements, with Real Madrid’s Raul Asencio reportedly on their radar.

Additionally, Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira has emerged as another player of interest for Emery, as Villa aim to strengthen their squad for a strong second half of the season and secure a Champions League spot.

The club has previously supported Emery in the transfer market and remains committed to backing him with further signings to enhance the team’s prospects.
