Thomas Frank is expected to make significant changes to his new Tottenham squad this summer, with some difficult decisions ahead regarding player exits.

After finishing 17th in the Premier League last season, Tottenham are anticipated to part ways with several members of the current squad.

One player who appears to be out of favour is Radu Dragusin, and the club is reportedly open to letting him leave.

According to TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey, Spurs are prepared to offload Dragusin, who has slipped further down the pecking order following Kevin Danso’s arrival in January.

Despite joining the club for £25 million, Dragusin has struggled to make a strong impact, and Tottenham wouldn’t block his departure if he chooses to move on.

Bailey told TBR Football: “I think an interesting one at Tottenham to keep an eye on is Dragusin, because Danso is now well ahead of him in the pecking order.

“It wouldn’t surprise me if we see something with Dragusin this summer and a possible exit. I don’t think Spurs have been blown away by what he’s done since arriving at the club.

“There has also been a bit of agitating from the player, I think even in January he was agitating a little bit, and I guess this is what happens when you’re signing squad players

“When you get someone like Dragusin arrive and he’s confident that he can get a first-team spot, but he ends up sitting on the bench, then you have an issue. I’m not sure Spurs would stand in his way.”

Tottenham will have plenty of options at centre-back during pre-season, with Ashley Phillips, Luka Vuskovic, and Kato Takai all expected to report to Hotspur Way.

Takai is nearing a move to Spurs from Japanese top-flight side Kawasaki Frontale, where he’s already made 78 senior appearances.

The club is also highly optimistic about Vuskovic’s potential, and the 18-year-old is expected to be closely evaluated by Thomas Frank over the summer.

Bailey added: “I think he might become someone who is moved on, and as you said, they do have options coming in. Phillips and Vuskovic are very good young players, and Kato is also set to sign.

“I still think the Spurs would like another left-footed defender. The way Spurs’ injury list is, even if you’re third, fourth or fifth choice, you’re going to see some game time.”
