Administered by Football Association Premier League Ltd, the EPL features 20 elite clubs and serves as a stage for global stars like Kevin De Bruyne, Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mané, Mohamed Salah, and Paul Pogba.
Recent additions, including Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Gareth Bale, and James Rodriguez, further enhance its appeal. Despite the economic challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, English clubs spent approximately €1.09 billion during the latest transfer window.
Italy’s Serie A has overtaken Spain’s La Liga as the second most valuable league. While La Liga still showcases Lionel Messi, it hasn’t fully rebounded from Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit from Real Madrid.
