The Golden State Warriors wrapped up their New York trip with a perfect 2-0 record, securing wins against the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks while finishing their five-game road stretch with an impressive 4-1 record.

Now returning to the Bay Area, the team is in high spirits after staging a remarkable 22-point comeback against the Nets.

Despite falling behind 27-5 and losing Brandin Podziemski to injury early in the game, the Warriors proved their resilience, continuing their strong form since Jimmy Butler’s arrival.

Podziemski’s injury was a concerning moment, as he clutched his lower back and immediately signaled to the bench that he needed to leave.

He was taken straight to the locker room for evaluation, and after sustaining the injury within the first minute, the team ruled him out by halftime.

While Golden State rallied behind a sensational 40-point performance from Stephen Curry to secure the win, Podziemski’s condition remained a key concern.

After the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr provided an update on the young guard, offering some reassuring news for fans.

“Doesn’t appear to be serious. Day-to-day,” Kerr said after the victory.

This is great news for the Warriors, who are also anticipating the return of Jonathan Kuminga after a two-month absence. With Jimmy Butler in the lineup, Golden State has been dominant, boasting a 10-1 record.

As the postseason approaches, staying healthy and maintaining momentum could be crucial for the Warriors as they push to reach their full potential this season.

Podziemski has thrived alongside Butler, with his performance noticeably improving since the star forward joined the team.

Steph Curry Makes NBA History in Warriors-Nets

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors narrowly edged out the Brooklyn Nets with a 121-119 victory, marking their third consecutive win.

Curry delivered a spectacular 40-point performance, adding four rebounds and four assists to lead his team to victory.

Following the game, StatMamba highlighted that Curry has now climbed to No. 10 on the NBA’s all-time list for 40-point games.

He also holds the second-most 40-point games by a point guard in league history (70), trailing only Oscar Robertson (77). Since the All-Star break in February, Curry has been on fire, averaging 29.9 points and 7.3 assists per game.

After the win, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr spoke to the media, offering high praise for his superstar guard.

“Stephen just had an incredible trip,” Kerr said. “Put on a show in every city.”

After the game, the Warriors announced that Stephen Curry had been named the team’s “Player of the Game” for his outstanding performance against Brooklyn.

Curry and the Warriors now shift their focus to Sunday’s matchup against the Detroit Pistons before returning home to take on the Portland Trail Blazers on March 11.

With their recent strong play, Golden State continues to rise in the standings, currently holding the No. 6 spot in the Western Conference.
