The Seattle Seahawks’ wide receiver corps is set for a major overhaul in 2025, following the release of veteran Tyler Lockett and the trade of DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

To help fill the gap left by Lockett and Metcalf, the team signed Cooper Kupp. However, given Kupp’s recent injury history, it’s likely the Seahawks will need to add more depth at the position as the season progresses.

As reported earlier Monday, Seattle has met with Tetairoa McMillan, a projected first-round pick, and according to Mike Garofolo of NFL Network, they’ve also had discussions with Kyle Williams, a potential Day 2 selection.

Williams’ draft stock has surged in recent months thanks to an impressive showing during Senior Bowl practices, despite recording just one catch for four yards in the game itself.

Over his college career, Williams tallied 248 receptions for 3,609 yards and 29 touchdowns, including 2,041 yards and 20 touchdowns in his last two seasons at Washington State.

Washington State WR Kyle Williams’ slate of nine pre-draft visits took him to the #Dolphins yesterday with the #Bears, #49ers and #Seahawks this week. After 14 TDs in ’24, Williams cemented himself as an early Day 2 pick with a 4.40 40 at the Combine and good meetings with teams. pic.twitter.com/lWsbSokC2b

The speedy receiver posted a 4.40-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis but did not participate in agility drills at either the Combine or his Pro Day.
