Police have nabbed two more suspects in the Trump golf course vandalism case. The incident happened overnight at Trump’s luxury Turnberry resort in Scotland, where vandals splashed red paint across the clubhouse and tore up parts of the greens.

Authorities say they picked up a 75-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman Wednesday in the Oban area after following up on leads. Both have been let go for now while the investigation continues.

This comes after the March 8th pre-dawn damage at the famous South Ayrshire course, which was reported to cops around 4:40 AM that morning.

The force said: “The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.”

These latest arrests come after police picked up a 33-year-old man earlier this month for the same incident. Like the two newest suspects, he was released while the investigation continues.

Rory McIlroy Tests Secret New Approach in Desperate Bid to End Masters Drought

Rory McIlroy has gone into full lockdown mode – literally shutting himself away to rebuild his golf swing from scratch. The four-time major champion is obsessed with checking one final box: winning that elusive Masters green jacket.

Despite dominating golf’s biggest stages earlier in his career (his last major win was way back in 2014), Augusta National keeps breaking his heart. Remember 2011’s epic collapse when he blew a four-shot lead? Or 2022 when Scottie Scheffler edged him out? Even last year’s US Open slipped through his fingers with those brutal late bogeys.

Now 35 and tired of close calls, McIlroy’s taking radical action. He’s completely dismantling his swing in what looks like a last-ditch transformation attempt. When asked about his intense training sessions, he simply says: ‘I’m working on it.’ But those close to him know – this is all about finally conquering Augusta.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Chad Mumm, the executive producer of Netflix documentary Full Swing said: “I got to spend a little bit of time with Rory in the offseason. And it was interesting, because he was in the middle of a pretty rigorous reworking of his swing.”

“The month that we were filming Happy Gilmore in New Jersey, he was not watching his ball flight, which I thought was really fascinating.

“Actually, I invited him out to go play some golf on one of the off days of filming movies, and a couple of the other players had come out. And he’s like, ‘Look, I’m rebuilding my swing. I’d love to come, but I’m literally locking myself in a simulator at night, turning the simulator off, filming my swing from behind, and just looking at the motion. If I see my ball flying through the air, I’ll start going back to the old ways.

“And so he took a month to rebuild it and he came back and, all of a sudden, here he is … seemingly in total control of his game.”

McIlroy’s been surprisingly open about his swing overhaul – especially his push for more raw power. Last November, he pulled back the curtain on the process, admitting:

“The only way I was going to make a change, or at least move in the right direction, with my swing was to lock myself in a studio and not see the ball flight for a bit and just focus entirely on the movement.

“It’s something,” he added, “just to make my golf swing more efficient, and then if it is more efficient, then it means it’s not going to break down as much under pressure. If I look at my year, the one thing that I would criticize myself on is the fact that I’ve had these chances to win.”

McIlroy’s off-season grind is clearly paying off. The world No. 2 has already notched two huge wins this year – snagging both the Players Championship and the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am titles.
