Katie Boulter hasn’t closed the door on the possibility of teaming up with her fiancé, Alex de Minaur, for mixed doubles at Wimbledon 2025.

The prestigious tournament, the third Grand Slam of the year, is set to begin on June 30 and will bring together top players from across the globe vying for one of tennis’ most coveted titles.

Currently competing at the Queen’s Club Championships, Boulter was asked by reporters whether a doubles pairing with De Minaur at Wimbledon could be on the cards.

The 28-year-old revealed that the couple hadn’t discussed the idea yet, leaving the door open for a potential appearance together on the grass courts of SW19.

“You never know,” she said, as quoted by the Daily Express. “I don’t think we’ve ruled it out, but I don’t think we’ve had a conversation about it, so we do need to have a chat about it.”

Katie Boulter and Alex de Minaur have previously teamed up in various tournaments, including Wimbledon. At the 2023 edition of the Grand Slam, the duo competed in the mixed doubles category but saw their run end in the second round after a hard-fought loss to Joran Vliegen and Xu Yifan, with a final scoreline of 6-3, 4-6, 7-6.

At the ongoing Queen’s Club Championships, Boulter has been competing in both singles and doubles.

In the doubles event, her partnership with Emma Raducanu concluded on Wednesday after a straight-sets defeat in the quarterfinals to Erin Routliffe and Lyudmyla Kichenok, who won 6-2, 7-5.

Boulter remains in contention in the singles draw, however. She advanced to the round of 16 and is set to face fifth seed Diana Shnaider on Thursday.

Boulter earned her spot after a comeback win over Ajla Tomljanovic, triumphing 6-7, 6-1, 6-4. Shnaider, meanwhile, booked her place with a convincing 6-4, 6-1 victory over Magdalena Frech in the opening round.
