The outlet, in its 16 December report, highlights that the Serie A club values the left-back’s qualities, with Thiago Motta keen to bring the Italian to Turin. Motta has requested Juventus management to explore the possibility of signing Emerson.
As the Bianconeri assess the feasibility of a transfer, West Ham faces a dilemma, especially with Luizao already expected to depart the London Stadium in January, as reported by UOL on 14 December.
With uncertainty surrounding Julen Lopetegui’s position as manager, the Hammers must make crucial decisions about strengthening their squad. Losing a regular starter like Emerson mid-season could destabilize the team further, especially given their current struggles.
Lopetegui’s efforts have yet to yield positive results, leaving West Ham in 14th place in the Premier League ahead of their match against Bournemouth on Monday, 16 December.
