Real Madrid appear to have made a decision regarding Endrick’s short-term future, with the young Brazilian likely to head out on loan for the 2025–26 season—despite his hopes of staying in Madrid.
According to Cadena SER, the club feels a loan spell would be the best move for the 18-year-old, who turns 19 this month, as he’s unlikely to secure regular playing time under new head coach Xabi Alonso—much like under former manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Endrick recently missed the start of the Club World Cup in the U.S. due to injury. In his absence, academy breakout star Gonzalo Garcia seized the spotlight, netting four goals and an assist in five matches. His standout form has only further complicated Endrick’s path to first-team minutes.
With attacking options like Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius Jr., Gonzalo Garcia, and future signing Franco Mastantuono already in the mix, Madrid reportedly see Endrick falling further down Alonso’s attacking pecking order next season.
As a result, the club is preparing to send him out on loan, and interest from clubs in Germany and France—who had previously tracked the former Palmeiras wonderkid—has reportedly been reignited.
Spanish reports also claim that Endrick recently met with Madrid’s general director, José Ángel Sánchez, while in the U.S. to discuss his future. Journalist Jorge Picon says that after evaluating Endrick during training, Alonso is considering using him as a right winger next season.
A final decision is expected in the coming weeks as Madrid weigh their options and Endrick’s development path.
