Exclusive – Juventus leading the race to sign Bruno Durdov
Juventus is eager to add Bruno Durdov, a rising Croatian football talent, to its squad. The young star, who has impressed with standout performances for HNK Hajduk Split, is also drawing attention from several top European clubs.
Born in Split, Durdov’s abilities have captured the interest of scouts, but according to JuveFC sources, Juventus is currently leading the race to sign him.
At just 17 years old, Durdov has distinguished himself with remarkable speed and agility, traits that have made him a standout among his peers.
Italian giants AC Milan, Inter Milan, and AS Roma are also reportedly vying for his signature, but Juventus appears to be ahead, having already conducted detailed scouting and monitored his recent matches closely.
His significant development this season has only heightened the Turin club’s determination to secure him.
Beyond Italy, Durdov has also attracted interest from clubs in England and Germany. In the Premier League, Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly considering him as a target, impressed by his potential to succeed in English football’s challenging environment.
Meanwhile, Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are intrigued by his pace and technical skills, which they see as valuable assets for German football.
The intense competition for Durdov highlights his status as one of Europe’s most promising young players.
While many clubs continue to monitor his progress, Juventus’ proactive and strategic approach could give them an edge. As Durdov’s career trajectory points toward a move to a top European league, Juventus seems especially determined to make him part of their future plans.

Everton to swoop in and hijack deal for Arthur Melo with approach made
As the January transfer window enters its final stages, Everton is ramping up its activity in the market.
Following their 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur, the Toffees find themselves four points clear of the relegation zone.
However, manager David Moyes is keen to avoid complacency and has called on the Friedkin Group to secure reinforcements, emphasizing the need for signings during his post-match press conference.
Moyes is aiming to adopt a more possession-oriented and attack-focused style of play, with training sessions now centered on this tactical shift.
To support these plans, Everton is actively seeking to bring in new talent and is currently in discussions to sign a former Barcelona midfielder.
Everton make contact to sign Arthur Melo
Italian outlet TuttoJuve reports that Everton has recently initiated contact to sign Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo, a player they have been monitoring for some time.
The Merseyside club is looking to secure Melo’s signature despite strong competition from La Liga side Real Betis. While many reports suggest Betis is close to finalizing a deal, no agreement has been reached yet, leaving Everton with an opportunity to step in.
Melo is no stranger to the Premier League, having spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Liverpool. However, his stint at Anfield was underwhelming, with only one senior appearance and more playing time with the under-21s. It was evident that Jurgen Klopp didn’t see him as part of his plans.
Since leaving Liverpool, the 28-year-old has found success with Fiorentina, but he has once again fallen out of favor at Juventus, making a move in the winter transfer window increasingly likely.

West Ham United in transfer tussle to sign Noah Okafor
West Ham United is reportedly interested in signing 24-year-old Swiss forward Noah Okafor from Serie A club AC Milan during the winter transfer window.
According to a report in Monday’s Gazzetta dello Sport, shared by Sport Witness, Okafor has caught the attention of West Ham United, with AC Milan also facing competition from Bournemouth. Both Premier League clubs are reportedly leading the race to secure the versatile attacker, who is available for transfer this month.
Since joining AC Milan from Red Bull Salzburg in July 2023, Okafor has had an inconsistent start to his career in Serie A. A product of FC Basel’s youth system, Okafor gained prominence at Red Bull Salzburg, where he enjoyed a successful period.
However, his playing time has been limited at AC Milan, having made just 16 appearances across all competitions, totaling 550 minutes, with one goal and two assists to his name.
Despite his struggles for regular minutes, Okafor’s reputation remains strong, and several top European clubs have shown interest.
RB Leipzig came close to signing him earlier this month, but the deal fell through due to complications during medical checks. A potential move to the Premier League seems likely, with West Ham among the clubs keen on his services.
West Ham has been tracking Okafor for over two years, making their continued interest understandable due to his versatility.
Although he has faced limited opportunities at AC Milan, Okafor demonstrated his ability and contributions during his time at Red Bull Salzburg.
With West Ham currently facing an injury crisis, Okafor could be a valuable addition. While primarily a winger, the Swiss international is also capable of playing as a centre-forward, adding to his appeal.
However, West Ham will face competition from Bournemouth in their pursuit of the 24-year-old.
Both West Ham and Bournemouth are positioned as frontrunners to sign Okafor this month, with intermediaries also reportedly offering him to Tottenham.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Swiss attacker moving to London in the near future.

Juventus to allow Danilo’s Napoli move with strategic timing
Juventus are reconsidering their position on Danilo and may allow him to leave on a free transfer this January. However, they are determined not to let the defender join Napoli before their Serie A clash next weekend.
Napoli has been eyeing the Brazilian in recent weeks as a short-term solution to bolster Antonio Conte’s squad with experience. Their interest hinges on signing him as a free agent, given he has just six months remaining on his contract.
The Bianconeri were displeased with Danilo’s request to terminate his contract to join a Serie A rival. In response, they decided to exclude the 33-year-old from the squad, informing him that he is no longer part of Thiago Motta’s plans.
Juventus accept to release Danilo after Napoli clash
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Juventus are now willing to relax their position and release Danilo, but only after their away match against Napoli on Saturday, January 25.
The timing appears deliberate, indicating that the Bianconeri are keen to avoid strengthening Antonio Conte’s side ahead of their direct clash.
Napoli currently leads Serie A, sitting 13 points clear of unbeaten Juventus.
Juventus Make New Contacts with Chelsea and Newcastle for Chilwell and Kelly
Juventus remains active in the transfer market as they aim to strengthen their defense under manager Thiago Motta. The club’s sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, is seeking suitable defensive options after facing setbacks in their pursuit of other targets.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that, following injuries to key defenders Bremer and Cabal, and after being turned down by Araujo and encountering difficulties in talks for Tomori, Juventus is now focusing on new prospects. The club is set to engage in fresh discussions with Chelsea and Newcastle United regarding potential signings of Portuguese defender Renato Veiga (born in 2003) and English defender Lloyd Kelly (born in 1998).
These talks aim to determine the terms under which both players could leave their current clubs. Juventus considers both Veiga and Kelly as promising candidates to strengthen their defense.
Alongside defensive reinforcements, Juventus is also looking to improve their attack. Tuesday, January 21, could be a pivotal day for finalizing the deal for Kolo Muani. The French striker is already training with the team, signaling that negotiations are at an advanced stage.
