Keith Jackson suggests that Rangers may struggle to turn down bids for Hamza Igamane during the summer transfer window.
According to the Daily Record journalist, interest in the Moroccan striker is likely to soar, especially if he delivers another standout performance against Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Europa League.
Jackson believes that if the Gers were to receive a £10 million offer for the 22-year-old, they would feel obligated to accept, securing a significant profit.
Speaking on Hotline Live (16 January), Jackson said: “I don’t think you’ll see Igamane in a Rangers shirt next season. He’s made such progress.
“And I think he’ll go down to Old Trafford… if he goes onto that platform against Manchester United and turns it on and looks like the player he’s looked like in the last few weeks, that’s when the interest will really start to skyrocket.
“They are going to get the kind of offers in the summer they’ll find impossible to resist. This is a guy we spent £1.5m on, if you can get a cheque of £10m after the 12 months, I’m afraid that’s the sort of business [that needs to be done].”

Hamza Igamane was a relatively unknown talent when Rangers took a chance on him, signing him from AS FAR in Morocco.
Early in the season, Philippe Clement rarely relied on the 22-year-old, with Cyriel Dessers continuing to lead the line at Ibrox. However, after inconsistent performances from the Nigerian striker, the Belgian manager opted to bench him, giving Igamane the opportunity to shine.
Rangers fans have been impressed with the Moroccan forward’s contributions, with nine goals in his last 10 Scottish Premiership matches. He found the net again in a commanding 3-0 victory over Aberdeen at Ibrox on Wednesday (15 January), helping secure second place for the team.
It wouldn’t be surprising if top European clubs expressed interest in Igamane during the summer transfer window. While selling him might be financially tempting, the young striker could play a pivotal role in restoring success to Rangers next season.
